| July 23 BOONVILLE - Sam Tornatore fired a 2-under 68 Monday at Woodgate Pines Golf Club to win the Mohawk Valley Junior Golf Tour's 7th event of the season. It was the first win for Tornatore, who has finished consistently in the top five all season. He won by five strokes over Bobby Davenport and six strokes over Dante Migliore. Ryan Stilwell, Matt Best and Nick Arrigo posted 76s to tie for fourth. In the Boys 16-18 Division, Alex Malta shot 75 to win by a stroke over Sean Wuest. Mike Vacheresse (77) was third and Austin Chandler (80) finished fourth. In the 12-Under Divisions, Sydney Bard and Zachary Klein each shot 38 to post victories. Other Division champs on Monday were: Dominique Bevivino (50 in Girls 13-15) and MaryAnn Bulawa (82 in Girls 16-18 Division). COMPLETE RESULTS |
