shot a 5-under-par 67
Tuesday to set a
competitive course record
at Crestwood Golf Club.

Davenport helped open the
Mohawk Valley Junior Golf
Tour's 27th season in style,
winning the Boys 13-15
Division by 10 strokes over
Tommy Mandel.

Davenport, who will be a
sophomore this fall for the
Indians, also won the
Center State Conference
Tournament earlier this
month at Skenandoa.

Notre Dame's Mike Kalil
shot 74 to win the Boys
16-18 Division by to strokes
over RFA's Mike
Vacheresse.

Section III champion,
Nicolette Darois, shot 81 to
win the Girls 16-18
Division by 10 strokes over
RFA teammate MaryAnn
Bulawa.

Other division winners were
Scott Mundorff (45 in Boys
12-Under); Sydney Bard (41
in Girls 12-Under) and Lilly
Bulawa (45 in Girls 13-15).

The MVJGT resumes with
its second tournament this
Friday at Yahnundasis Golf
Club.
